Overview

Ride into the heart of Pindus National Park, one of Greece's most remote and biodiverse landscapes. Locals call it Valia Calda — "Warm Valley" — a land of alpine lakes, ancient black pine and beech forests, and open mountain ridges, home to the elusive brown bear, wolves, otters, and over 80 bird species including the golden eagle.

Following Bear's Trail by e-bike, you'll climb past rivers, stone bridges, and the village of Metsovo before the trail turns to foot in Zagori. From Tsepelovo, stone-cobbled paths and centuries-old bridges lead toward Monodendri, with the Vikos Gorge unfolding along the way — wheels giving way to boots, wild nature giving way to warm hospitality, over six days.
